Expanding Overseas

Expanding overseas isnt quite as difficult as it use to be if you are online and have the right partners to guide you.

Some interesting facts from some recent research show that :

  • 52% of non-English speakers surveyed only buy from websites where the information is presented in their language.

  • This goes up to 60% when looking at French & Japanese shoppers.

  • People who have little to no English skills were 6 times more likely not to buy from English-only sites.

  • These effects are apparently more pronounced, the higher the value of the item or service.

  • 56.2% said that when making a purchase decision, information written in their own language was more important than a low price.

This information is particularly relevant when you take into account the fact that Chinese is the most natively-spoken language in the world; followed by Spanish and then English.

By having a website with content in Chinese, Spanish and English; you will target approximately 60% of the internet’s 1.65 billion internet users.

Food for thought.

Thats what we can do. Incorporating global strategic digital marketing to get you the qualified traffic and working with our global network to give you any physical presence that you may require.

Barcelona or Torguay

On a recent trip to Barcelona I was able to experience the true brilliance of Gaudi first hand. It really was remarkable. Despite visiting and staying in hotels overseas I still like to visit English cultural locations such as Torquay where there are some great Torquay hotels to stay in and appreciate the nearby village of Cockington and of course the beatiful seaside.

Born Global

So what is Born Global. The latest buzz phrase maybe ? It is a term that has been passed about in relation to busineses that source and operate globally and in particular sme's who start their very existance with global presence either as cheapr supply chains and service centres or sales offices. A great summary of this whole subject is found the the Born Global book published late 2009 by Neal Gandhi. A very useful read for entrepreneurs and ambitious sme's. In it are some real life quotes and case studies of some true Born Global Entrepreneurs including me. I am a Born Global Businessman !
